UNSW FACILITIES DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS (LAST UPDATED FEB 2009)

These REQUIREMENTS have been prepared by UNSW Facilities to document design criteria for all renovations, additions and new construction. The REQUIREMENTS have been jointly prepared by persons responsible for the planning, construction and maintenance of the University's facilities. This information is provided to achieve quality campus structures and landscapes requiring minimum maintenance effort and operating expense.

Adherence to the REQUIREMENTS is required. Any deviations for equal or improved concepts, methods or products must be called to the attention of, and reviewed with the relevant Project Manager, and receive written approval before implementation.

These REQUIREMENTS do not relieve the Consultant's responsibility for providing complete and accurate Contract Documents.

The REQUIREMENTS will undergo revisions on the basis of individual Sections as required. . The date above signifies the last date one of the sections has been updated. This revision will supersede all previous additions and construction practices for UNSW. The date each section was last revised is shown alongside each. Consultants should check the Revision/Date against their appropriate Sections to ensure they are using the most current version.

To facilitate downloading, the REQUIREMENTS are presented as separate documents in pdf format, the titles of which are presented below. To download the required document the user must click on the relevant heading.
